The Talifit Bora & ARE Sprint Challenge are underway, and results having already come in! Yesterday, Day 1 (April 10) featured the ARE Sprint Challenge, with exhilarating V1 and V6 speed races from 100 meters to 500 meters. On Day 2 (April 11) of this exciting three-day event, paddlers have converged on Matira Beach for Marathon Day—8km, 15km, and 18km races featuring V1 and V6 canoes. For everyone experiencing the fun, camaraderie, and competition of this event, the Talifit Bora Bora race is Bora Bora’s most exciting va’a adventures, a unique competition combining performance, Polynesian culture and hospitality. It’s an authentic South Pacific experience, amidst the natural beauty of spectacular Matira Beach, considered by some the world’s most beautiful beach.

On Saturday, April 12, the final day of Talifit Bora, it will yet another Marathon Day and the biggest endurance challenge of the event. It will feature V6 races and the ultimate V1 challenge of over l8km.

Paddlers and spectators alike are reveling in the excitement of the Talifit Bora & ARE Sprint Challenge, where paddlers from all over the South Pacific and beyond have gathered to race, socialize, and speak the common language of… ‘ohana!
